I dedicate this blog to Louise

...who is my bestest girlfriend, queen of yoyo dieting and hopefully a contributor to this new blog. Why did I start this blog? I started this blog because I'm tired of carrying extra luggage, and being out of shape, and out of balance. I want to grow more healthy habits and I'm asking for advice. Please share with me girlfriend! Sue :)

Does this make us the yo-yo sisters? I am with Katy and doing the Weight Watchers thing. So far it's working pretty good, and I don't feel deprived...especially when your bestest friend brings you a hot fudge sundae from McD's...for a total of 5 points.'lol'
So far Weight Watchers and common sense seem to working best. Do I have to report to you weekly?

Care to make it triplets? I think reporting weekly would keep us honest, Louise. I'm in if you both are.

Right now, my biggest problem is nobody -- no buddy -- get it? It might make me think twice when stress sends me look for something sweet, if I knew someone would be checking up on me. In the very friendliest, helpfullest, best-of-intentionsist way, of course.

I've got 35 pounds to lose and I never want to find them again. Are you in?

Hey Heather,

I think it's a good idea! I report to Kim at work, and both of us want to have to report 'we gained a pound!'. Our day is Monday morning so it probably would work best for me to report on here that day to.

I am tackling 20 pounds at a time. The bigger numbers are intimidating and seem so far away. Smaller goals are easier to achieve and more rewarding (sooner is better than later, since I get discouraged).

Let me know if Monday works, I am in. I am going to send this to Kim too..the more the merrier and the more to report too! 'lol'
